Description
This vintage state tray is a souvenir from the New York State Thruway. It is made out of black lacquered hard plastic with red trim. There are images of the Tappan Zee Bridge, New York City, the Finger Lakes, Niagra Falls, Sarasota Springs, and mountains, a tollbooth (you've got to have that), restaurants and gift shops. It was made by Lang Craft sometime around the 1970s. Whenever I hear the New York Thruway, I think of what Arlo Guthrie said at Woodstock: "There are supposed to be a million-and-a-half people here by midnight and the New York State Thruway is closed man!" This New York tray is in great vintage condition with a couple of light scuffs or scratches. It's nice and shiny.
