Description
This is a solid copy of the 1962 vinyl LP "Dreaming Down The River To New Orleans" from Thomas Jefferson and friends. Southland SLP-238. Purchased new by my Dad when it came out and in family possession since. I have listen tested this LP, as I do every piece of vinyl I offer, and I try to be conservative, but using Goldmine standards I will rate the vinyl as VG, and borderline VG+. 8 - 10 seconds of background noise on the run in on both sides, but plays beautifully. Paper sleeve is VG/VG+, with light yellowing, but no folded corners and no splits anywhere. Cardboard jacket is VG/VG+, with great color, minor corner rounding, very light ring wear, but a water stain on the reverse. It's 62 years old, but you won't be disappointed by the listening experience. In my family for decades, and now ready to join your collection for your listening pleasure! The photos are of the very LP you are bidding on, not a "similar" item. I will gladly provide further photos or information about this piece until you are comfortable.
