Rare Western, New York Souvenir 1912 Calendar Plate CHAS. J. KOLPIEN Although unmarked, my research attributes this plate to Chautauqua County, specifically the Ripley, NY area Charles J. Kolpien (April 8, 1870-March 13, 1941) is buried in East Ripley Cemetery Wonderful 112 year-old antique souvenir with young sailor boys on a boat design and a floral and unusual vertical calendar border. Shows very minimal surface wear, with moderate wear to the gold trim band. Very fine overall crazing.
