Description

This is one of the harder-to-find Kettlesprings Kilns souvenir plates. I rarely see them especially in such like new condition. Souvenir plate from the "Schenectady County, N.Y. Sesquicentennial 1809 - 1959". There are six different scenes on the perimeter. 1. Edison Machine Works in 1888 - Forerunner of General Electric Co. 2. Scotia-Schenectady Bridge with Broomcorn Growing in the Foreground 3. Union College 4. First Locomotive Built in Schenectady 1848 (ALCO). 5. Duane House Duanesburg - Built in 1812 6. Erie Canal and Dock Street It is about 10 1/4" wide. It is in excellent condition. There is no damage. There is no crazing, discoloration, or surface wear. This piece displays very well. Regarding combined shipping. In most cases, several pieces can be shipped in a single box. When this occurs, I will credit the purchaser's account any shipping difference. In-other-words, I charge exact shipping for same time multiple purchases. I cannot issue these credits until I've purchased the postage so it may take a day or two. I do this often.
